Flock and TechTV logos

I'm talking about Flock — the social web browser. It's built on these same source as Firefox, yet it's something else entirely. Billed as an easier way to blog and do all that Web 2.0 stuff, it has a logo reminiscent of a television station long-since gone. I couldn't find anything on the Flock site about this, but there seems to be some interest on the design of the logo. It's obviously inspired by it, I just wondered if there was any official connection to the old ZDTV or TechTV crew. If you know, or also wanna know, contact me, or blog it up, and we'll take over Technorati. Or something. I'd settle for a paragraph in Wikipedia if it would explain the similarities.
