So, I've been hearing it all day, "John, we're dying to know your trackbacks policy! Why must you constantly keep us in the dark?"

So, being the benevolent dictator, from August 28, 2005:

• All trackbacks are my property. Once you give it to me, it's mine. MINE! You can't have it back.
• Feel free to send me all kind of trackback spam as well
• All trackback spammers will be punched in the face

But, knowing this is probably the deathnell of any trackbacks I'll ever get sent again, let me reassure you of these things:

• All people I've punched in the face for being trackback spammers will be then gloated over
• Only of few of them will be changed to more favorably
• I will only delete trackbacks if you are a meanie. And I can see it in your eyes, you're a meanie!

So, this is our trackbacks policy.

Our crack legal team told me that we have to point out that this is all just a joke, and that all trackbacks to non-illegal or defamatory or javascript-hating sites will be left to stand, regardless of the opinion of MacStansbury.com and it's employees. However, they may be deleted at anytime for any reason, fully at the discretion of the MacStansbury staff. Non-reciprocal links will be made fun of. A lot.

However, don't take this as a need to link back to me, although it sure would be spiffy of you. And would quell that bitter rage I have building in my heart. And would give me a reason not to delete the trackback.
