With a linkness
With a linkness started out as my attempt to catalogue the entire internet. I link to things all over the internet, on a variety of mostly tech-related topics. There's fun stuff in there as well, and some weird, silly, technical, interesting things to help you pass the time. That changed, though, as I grew in the linky arts, and found fulfillment in del.icio.us. However, time passed, and I grew restless. Eventually, I moved on to Ma.gnolia, and came back to my first disciple: Miniblog. Now my goal is not to supply the world with links, but to spread the love of the thing I'm most interested in: me. Okay, maybe not all that, but I do sure do love linking things. Sometimes it don't deserve a whole post, so I throw it in the Miniblog. Plus, if you get the RSS feed, you get my Ma.gnolia links and Flickr pictures, no extra charge. It's almost constant fun, and it's all free. See the links in action With a linkness.

Tutorials
You want to do stuff with yourself. You've got free time, and you need to fill it with hours of blogging, right? But to make your blog shine, you need to put in tons of bling. The problem is, there's tons of useless bloggy space-wasters out there, but you don't have the time to figure out how to make it all work. That's where I come in. I do all the figuring out how to put things on your site that make it more interesting. Or, you know, the space-wasting. Sometimes I come up with something that's really awesome.
Get iBox working in WordPress or on Blogger

Updated with better CSS and corrections to make it validate with W3C. Probably the most famous post I've ever made. NOW How to install iBox on Blogger! Look for all the tutorials.

Overthinking
I get a good idea, every once-in-a-while. When I do, I take time to write it down, in great detail. Then I edit it mercilessly so that all meaning is lost.
Design is…Grace at MacStansbury.com
It's not a meme! Or is it? Unmeme? Read up on what design is, and why you should care. Because you care, right? This'll take you to not only a couple of my desktops, but my Flickr page. Okay, so there's not a lot of photographs going on there, there are a lot of screenshots. And who needs photos when you've got screenshots? Right. Me. Got it.

BSS: Britney Simple Syndication
For no apparent reason, I chose, over in Iraq, to make sure to post everything I could about Britney Spears. No, I have no idea what that was all about. It's one of those bargains with God, I figure. But that's what I've been doing, on and off, for the past few years, on Wednesdays, 8 pm Eastern, 7 pm Central. Check it in the BSS, and also dig the Britney Tracker, checking the movements of our girl Britney.
Friday Spoilers
The first feature of MacStansbury.com. I got the idea after watching Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. The joke is simple, and I've kept doing it, for better or for worse (usually worse) for several years now. Read them every Friday.

Tributes, Reviews, and Stuff
Along with being completely silly 90% of the time, I do get around to being serious on occasion. Also, I put together some other pages that don't really fit in with a daily blog post, like my microformat pages (not Microformats), or my essays or fiction.
Wayne John Saloman
Wayne John Saloman died on September 11, 2001, on or around the Word Trade Center. A stranger to me, it felt strange, and it wasn't something I'd ever want to write. That's what made it really difficult to write, because it wasn't about me, it was about somebody else, someone who could never know what going on. Then there's the audience; it's so hard to figure out who you are writing for. On a website essentially written for me, for my own use, it's hard to get out of that mold and make it about somebody else. I struggle. It wasn't for me, it was written for that long-tail Google search, for somebody trying to remember the past. That's why it's so important to get it right. Read my tribute to the fallen, here. Part of Project 2,996.
