Some pictures from great moments in MacStansbury history.

And by history, I mean crappy days that I wish I hadn’t wasted. Oy, I have nothing but regrets. But enough of my caterwauling; on to the pics!

oh, I long to look cool again

Turns out, at one point in my life, I was quite the hottie. No, really, see for yourself! Unfortunately, the ravages of age and…not being able to keep paying the lady for the elixir, caused me to revert to my more normal, evil looking self.

sigh

Oh, and I used to play in a band, years ago. Actually, I played in about 13 of them. That’s not that hard to do when you are the bass player in the 5 county area.

Anyways, this is ‘Round Midnight, and that guy looking all goofy in front was actually the coolest guy in school. Yeah, not exactly a rocket surgeon, but he had the abs and the charisma to get the fillies. Me? Yea, I was too busy learning how to create yet another fill to notice they weren’t missing him, and they were throwing their unmentionables at me.

Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, not too bright, not at all…

sigh

Found another picture of us from the year before. That’s Soup up front. He’s a great guy. Marine turned Air Force SP, last time I heard. Salt of the Earth.

Like me, he doesn’t believe the hype. We woulda made rotten rock stars.

Oh, at one point…I DID live on the west coast. Ft. Lewis, in fact. Loved the fact that there was snow on the ground in JULY.

Anyways, this was me on a field trip up to a lodge for some really crappy food and a huge fireplace. No, I don’t remember the name of the place. It had crappy food, is all I ‘member.

Man, I was cool back then…

why am I showing this

Yes, I am a goofy man. Geez. Actually, I was trying to look like that, to punish them for taking my picture. I think it worked, and they were woefully sorry they ever messed with the likes of me.

During one of those crazy college nights, I figured I needed a haircut. Now, for those of you who know how I am dealing with my hair-cutter-lady, you know I’m not all that quick on finding somebody new.

So I had a friend come over and saw it all off. That’s a before and after shot. I like the neatness of the after, but I just can’t pull the crew cut off. The worst part is you can see my teeth. Arg, I hate my teeth. But that’s another story.

Also, take a gander at my Army pictures.
