I'm the proud new owner of a Mixed Grill account from TextDrive, Strongspace and Joyent.

You're shaking your head at me, wondering who that is.

Besides being completely awesome, they are the three parts of one great company that's provides collaborative tools that make sense. They are putting together that paperless office people have envisioned for years. But, for the most part, it's just server space...very well done server space.

For a microscopic freelance writer like me, it's nice to be able to say, "Yeah, here's the place you can put that manuscript. The art? Yeah upload that too. Is it less than a gigabyte? Then send it!"

That's been the problem, you know. Most email only lets you send 2 to 5 megabytes at a time. An unworked PDF file can be 100 megabytes with just the layout. For somebody like me, this is a dream come true.

Now I just have to convince people to use the internet instead of FedEx.
