Apple posted a software update to Pages and Keynote, marked ‘v2.’ Nobody seems to know what it really means, but Ken Drake at KeynoteUser.com figures it has something to do with the remote functions. MacFixIt points out problems with presentations created in Keynote 2. It could all be in there.

Aperture future in question as Apple axes bulk of team
Not much of a rumor-monger, but the whole “Apple’s most heavily criticized and bug-ridden pro software release in recent years” line makes this story interesting to me. Not because I believe it, but because every 1.0 program of this scale tends to be bug-ridden. Aperture, like Photoshop or Final Cut, is more like an operating system than an application.

What is it with betas today? Newest beta of Internet Explorer 7, a browser conspicuously named, since it makes the 7th browser you have to design your site for (Firefox Mac/PC, Opera Mac/PC, Safari, IE 6). Yes, IE 7 renders like no other browser before or since. Almost nobody has even bothered to figure out how to code it yet.
Next generation of the browser. I’m all for having a bunch of choices, but sometimes coding for 6 different browsers can be a pain. Supposedly, Opera 9 renders everything how it’s supposed to, and that makes everything easier for website coders.

Apparently, the Yellow Bunnies are the more suicidal/brave of the species, with the pink ones a close second. Lavender Bunnies seemed to be content to lie in their natural state (lying side by side attached to their neighbors by the torso and ears) when volunteers were asked to come forward. Regardless of the color of their “skin” however, all Bunnies managed to perform their specified tests to the bitter end.
