This is a little story about traffic. You see, last night, I was looking at my Alexa.com ranking for MacStansbury.com and I found out I'd moved up those 3,927,680 places in the last 3 months. I mean, how often does that happen? Once, that I know of...with MacStansbury.com!

it looks like 4 million to me

While this may seem like nothing to most people, I find it rather intriguing that I could have a move up the ladder of websites by 4 million places over the past 3 months. Sure, it's just in Alexa.com rankings, and they can be manipulated, but how often do you move 4 million places, one way or the other? This is why I'm asking - no, begging you - to please, please help me get over the 3,999,999 mark, and reach this goal that all of us can remember. It's not for me...it's for science. Or history. Or something. It can be for the friggin' Columbus Day parade for all I care, I just want the friggin' thing with the 4,000,000 and stuff. Good screenshot material, people! Come on! Okay, I'm not saying that this is something that you have to do, it's just something that you better do, if you wanna keep on being my friend. And it's really easy to do, believe it or not. To get me over the hump, just get either the Alexa Toolbar for you Internet Explorer types, or SearchStatus for you Firefox folks. Using those will add to the mad Alexa hits, and 4 million domination that comes with it. And, it's not like you wouldn't be getting nothing for it, with those toolbars, you get to all kinds of stats about the site, and SearchStatus even shows off the page's PageRank. It's a win-win for everybody. Well, except for the 4,000,000 folks I'd have zoomed past in my internet domination. Since it's rather difficult to tell how many people would have to view the site, MacStansbury.com may have already peeked at 3,927,680, or it may go far beyond that, though it can't go that much higher, as it's already in the top 800,000 on the web. You can check out more statistical silliness on the brand-new MacStansbury.com Zeitgeist.
