My advice: don't try and fill you categories all at once For once, something written to me. When I was putting in the concept of a "fat footer," the large information cache at the bottom of the page, with all the unnecessary details, I was spacing out the posts from the past four years in logical manner. Some of the categories are new, some old, and the new ones and old ones alike have varying amounts of content. Some have almost none. If you know anything about me, there's only one thing I can't stand more than anything else on this planet:

And so I must give you this heart-felt advice: don't just throw stuff out there, just to fill a quota. Because, unless you're one of the privileged few, you don't make a dime off your site, and you're doing it for your own enjoyment. Honestly folks, I just love hearing my own self type. Take this advice to heart, though, because one of the first things I see bloggers do is this: "I'm sorry I'm not posting enough about µ. I'll try harder." Probably the reason for the lack of posting about µ is because you're just not motivated to post about it. Or you have no talent. Or you're too emotionally involved to make sense, and not posting on a particular subject is a good idea. Don't give into the pressure to fill out categories, or even to post daily or hourly content, just to provide your blog with much-needed content. If it's not any good, people won't want to read it, no matter how many times you've posted.
