As you can tell, I'm all about del.icio.us. Anything that can get me to write with more than one period in a name has got to be good. Good and tasty. There's a couple of things you can do for me, though, to make your life a little more del.icio.us, too.

First, get on over to With a linkness, and read that page and follow the links every day. It's a must-read, of the highest order. That, and my plan to sell the site for $60 million US dollars just wont work until I'm knee-deep in mad blog hits.

On that page, you'll see how you do other, wonderful things. Firstly, you can check out the hip-now-with-it With a linkness tagroll. Because you know you want to check out each and every tag. You know you do, admit it.

Come on, now! Admitting you love clicking on links is the first step to acknowledging that you're addicted. And, as I'm such a responsible person, I've got to tell you how to add to that addiction.

First, sign up for an account. Yes, you too can enjoy the bliss that is del.icio.us. Look, as difficult as it is to write that, you know I must be serious about this. I am, it's worth the effort of entering a user name and email address and password and stuff (stuff optional). Once you've got that coveted account, you can do other cool stuff.

First of all, you can get your own bookmarks page. With that, the wonder that is tags. Ah, sweet, sweet tagging. It's the wave of the future, don't you know?

Those tags allow you to search your own bookmarks, or those of other people. That's really the other part of posting your links online, it allows you to show other people important links, see how many other people are linking to the same thing. That's the "social" part of "social bookmarking."

When you're done with bookmarking things, here's where you really help me out and my mad scheme to make my first $60 mil: add me to your network. Your network is a set of other humans who've created a network of links. They may be joined by similar interests or culture, or just people that post links you enjoy reading. It can be as simple as that.

The reason I ask about adding me, is that I've got the rss feed for everyone of my fans in my network. Currently there's just one (thanks Mom), but I expect that number to grow as people start to learn more about the features in del.icio.us. Also, there's the for:macstansbury tag. You use that whenever you want to send me an interesting link. I've got that in the RSS as well.

Eventually, with my del.icio.us drone army in tow, I'll get my $60 million US dollars, and I'll move to some deserted island, catch malaria and die alone. Ah, dreams...but until that time, behold the awesome might of the Network Badge!
